The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has released the official notification for recruitment of Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO), and Computer Assistant (CA) posts under Advertisement No. 02/2026.

The examination is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Hon’ble High Court. This is a prestigious Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ level opportunity in the Allahabad High Court establishment with excellent pay scales, job security, and respect associated with the judiciary.

Relaxations: SC/ST/OBC/DFF up to 5 years • ESM as per rules • PwBD up to 15 years • Sportsperson (UP) 5 years. Only one relaxation benefit allowed.
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
  • Computer Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science OR ‘O’ Level Certificate from NIELIT/DOEACC OR CCC Certificate.
  • Typing Speed: Minimum 25 words per minute in English Typing on Computer.
Note: Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operation is essential. Preferential qualification for Territorial Army / NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Three mandatory stages. Stage-I is only for shortlisting. Final merit is prepared on the basis of marks in Stage-II (Mains) + Stage-III (Computer Knowledge Test).

Section A: Essay Writing in English (~200 words) — 30 Marks
Section B: Precis Writing in English — 25 Marks
Section C(i): Translation — English to Hindi — 25 Marks

Section D: English Comprehension (reproduce text on computer) — ~45 Marks
Focus: Constitutional accuracy, language proficiency, translation skills & coherence. Highly important for court work.
STAGE 3
Computer Knowledge Test (CBT + Typing)

Min. 25 Marks + 25 WPM
English Typing Test on Computer: Candidates will be given a text of approx. 500 words in English to reproduce in the same format. Speed calculated on correct words typed.
Both accuracy and speed matter. Practice daily typing.
Final Merit List: Prepared solely on aggregate marks of Stage-II (Mains) + Stage-III (Computer Test). Stage-I marks are NOT added.
No Interview • Tie-breaking rules apply
