Master’s / PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in any discipline; or Bachelor’s in Law; or Bachelor’s in Engineering; or ACA/FCA (ICAI); or ACS/FCS (ICSI); or ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI); or CFA from CFA Institute.
Master’s / PG Diploma (min. 2 years) in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative / Financial / Mathematical / Business / Agricultural / Industrial Economics, Business Analytics; or Finance / Quantitative Finance / Mathematical Finance / Quantitative Techniques / International / Business / Trade / Project & Infrastructure / Agri-Business Finance; or Statistics / Mathematical Statistics / Informatics / Data Science / AI / ML / Big Data Analytics; or Master’s in Mathematics plus a one-year PG Diploma in Statistics or related subject.
Graduation from a recognised university / institute and pass or exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).
Master’s in Hindi / Hindi Translation with English at Bachelor’s level; or Master’s in Sanskrit / English / Economics / Commerce with Hindi at Bachelor’s level; or Master’s in both English and Hindi / Hindi Translation.
Qualification must be held as on 31 July 2026. Final-year students who do not hold the degree by that date are not eligible.
Salary, Perks & Posting
Pay scale runs to ₹1,26,100 over 17 years.
Includes allowances and PFRDA’s NPS contribution.
New Delhi or Mumbai initially. Liable to serve anywhere in India. Probation generally 2 years.
Scale: ₹62,500 – 3,600(4) – ₹76,900 – 4,050(7) – ₹1,05,250 – EB – 4,050(4) – ₹1,21,450 – 4,650(1) – ₹1,26,100.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Phase I is only a filter. Final merit = Phase II (85%) + Interview (15%).
2 papers × 100 marks. Qualifying only. 1/4th negative marking. Paper-wise + overall cut-off.
Descriptive English (1/3) + Stream MCQs (2/3). This paper makes the rank list.
