Selection process / चयन प्रक्रिया
- 1st Stage CBT (screening, common to all posts): 100 questions, 90 minutes — General Awareness 40, Mathematics 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning 30 (indicative); 120 minutes for eligible PwBD scribe users.
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer in CBTs; normalised marks used for shortlisting.
- 2nd Stage CBT: 120 questions, 90 minutes — General Awareness 50, Mathematics 35, General Intelligence & Reasoning 35 (indicative); 15 times the community-wise vacancies of each RRB are shortlisted from CBT-1.
- Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL 30%, SC 30%, ST 25% (PwBD may get 2-mark relaxation if shortage).
- Document Verification (1:1 with vacancies) and Medical Examination; no typing skill test for this CEN.
